A Bold Idea

When it came to co-designing this collection, I came to the table with around 13 unique and distinct ideas. The first challenge was refining those ideas into a cohesive story, ensuring we created pieces that could be worn together seamlessly or stand out individually.
As I revisited that initial set of concepts, three key ideas emerged:
I aimed to design pieces that filled gaps in my own jewelry collection—those essential items I felt were missing.
I hoped to incorporate a vintage aesthetic but with a modern twist.
Most importantly, I wanted to create pieces that were bold in every sense, from silhouette to character, with a distinct weight that made a statement.
With these guiding principles, we crafted three standout pieces: a striking ring, a dynamic bangle, and elegant earrings.
The first piece I knew had to be part of this collection was a ring—specifically, a cigar band-inspired design. But instead of sticking to the traditional rounded shape, we wanted something more geometric. That’s how we arrived at the square shape with softly rounded edges, adding a modern twist to a classic style.
A key theme throughout the collection is the concept of acrostic jewelry, which was popular during the Victorian era. This style uses gemstones to spell out words, a tradition that has somewhat faded over time. As a lover of history, I wanted to revive this unique style, but with a fresh take. Instead of traditional words like "love" or "adore," we chose the word BOLD, represented by Blue Sapphire (B), Opal (O), Lapis (L), and Diamond (D). This word not only became central to the design but also inspired the name of the collection itself. I am known for my distinctive style, I wanted these pieces to celebrate individuality and the joy of self-expression.
The ring is available in three options: 14K Gold, Gold Plated, and Silver.
After designing the ring, we wondered: what if we supersized it into a bangle? And that’s exactly what we did. The bangles are a perfect reflection of the ring, carrying the same design elements, but on a bolder scale. What I love most about these bangles is how effortlessly they add a touch of "wow" to any outfit.
The pieces are easy to wear—whether you choose one or stack two together, which creates the most delightful clinking sound. Trust me, people will hear you coming from a mile away!
The bangles are available in two styles: Gold Plated and Silver.
The final piece in the collection, and certainly not the least, are the statement earrings. During my years of working a 9-to-5, I often needed an outfit that could transition seamlessly from day to night, and I always longed for a pair of statement earrings that could do the same. I envisioned earrings that were striking yet versatile—perfect for the office without being too dressy, and equally ideal for evening events. This desire led to the creation of these earrings.
While they feature the same gemstones as the ring and bangle, I wanted to introduce more variety in the design. Inspired by the geometric shapes we played with throughout the collection, I thought it would be eye-catching to create cascading earrings in three distinct forms: a square, a sphere, and the organic beauty of a baroque pearl. (Pearls, being my birthstone, add a personal touch to the collection.)
Another unique element is the choice of stones for the studs, which varies by metal. The 14K gold and gold-plated earrings feature a blue sapphire stud, while the silver earrings showcase a diamond stud.
