CONSIDER YOURSELF A SHOPPER #19: SUNGLASSES TO LIFT YOUR MOOD, AND NOTES ON THE FW24 COLLECTIONS
In this week's letter, I discuss my recent move and purchases, as well as a few notes regarding the F/W 24 Collections.
The longer I live in New York, the more I find myself dreading winter. Don't get me wrong ; the season's onset holds a certain enchantment. It's the time to unearth those sweaters tucked away, hopefully adorned with sachets of lavender and cedar balls. The hefty coats we invested in finally emerge from their slumber, and this is the perfect time to hit the streets in a new hat. Yet, as February ebbs into early March, the chore of layering becomes tiresome. Wrapping oneself in scarves or even donning a sweater as a makeshift scarf—perhaps even a snood for those inclined—loses its charm. The coat we once admired loses its allure.
