"I found myself thinking again about what one might wear when rushing directly from a flight to a meeting or dinner." Very good packing mentality.

Your travel style is perfect because it's so perfectly you. Sometimes I feel you dress on a mission -- to restore beauty. Coast to coast. I am grateful for it.

I’m swooning over your blazers, Jalil. 💕 The travel I do is more sitting in a car, or briefly in a seaplane, so a soft bottom half and layers are necessary, plus walking shoes. I often wear a soft dress or a skirt, rather than pants. Excellent article as always, and you reminded me to get my Romeo Gigli dress out!💕

Such a great approach to travel dressing, the mix of hard and soft feels spot on. I’ve been traveling in ME+EM barrel leg sweats, and I love them. They’re a heavier structured terry and with a long car coat or blazer they feel (and feel!) really good. Definitely thinking about mixing with leather now! Thank you for the great inspo, Jalil!

Be still my ❤️w how wonderful each & all of these traveling outfits 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The cobalt blue Cos suits you so perfectly~ I had high hopes but pale blonde of a certain seasoned age & skinny frame.. it gave me 😭😭😭Talbots 🤣

I was so bummed.

Also all the COS pieces (the barrel joggers) so 💪🏼.. but I’m kinda vexed I ever even discovered COS bc they sell out so fast

Which ~ ultimately ~ I guess is kinda cute & part of the appeal xo

Beautiful Substack
