Ah! I loved reading the answers from some of my favourite stylists on Substack and the gram. I was happy to see Heather being as taken by look 33 from Altuzarra - my heart! That Loretta Capone dress 😭😭😭😭. There’s something on my wish list after all 🥲.

THANK YOU for this Sunday treat. Loved the variety of voices featured and the questions you asked. Especially enjoyed reading the mistakes and feeling less alone! Also, less alone in craving that velvet tunic (completely Miami impractical) from the moment you showed it on you, damnit! XO.

The tunic is so good! I think they also offer it in a cotton version, which would be perfect for Miami!

Do you know what’s really great? Is to hear how little these fashion insiders actually shop. It’s so refreshing to hear people say “actually I don’t need anything”.

(I should have added that I love to shop, I love clothes, but as such there’s a lot of pressure – especially at this time of year – to be buying, buying, buying. Which most of us can’t. I’m trying to really get it through my head that it’s fine to also just get ideas on styling your existing wardrobe, or even to just admire pieces and looks without feeling I need to own them.)

So much good stuff here! Love! But on a different note... am I the only one bothered by the vintage photo use of folks like Cabmate? I know "everybody" does it. But as an art director/producer who has paid photographers (and deeply valued them) for their work as well as paid for various licenses, I am not good with it. Also - all those celebrities? is Cabmate getting all those permissions, recognizance and all that? I mean, maybe! But also... maybe not.
